Sunday services

Morning service (10:30 a.m.):  Our weekly morning service focuses on God’s Word and our response to it. In addition to our pastor’s sermon, we respond with a variety of music, prayer and offerings that involve people of all ages. We also have our baptisms during the morning services and often give time to missionaries and others to share how God is working in their lives.

Evening service (6:30 p.m.): Our weekly evening services are similar to our morning services although somewhat more informal. We often take time to open it up to questions and comments from the congregation and occasionally have services that focus on singing, prayer or one of our church’s ministries.

Special services

Special services: Among our worship services each year are the special holy days of the Christian Church, including Christmas, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Pentecost Sunday. Our church also holds worship services on such national holidays as the National Day of Prayer in May, Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Eve. Each summer we also have an outdoor service on the shores of Birch Bay.

Joint services: The Christian Reformed churches of Whatcom County or other community churches occasionally join together for worship. Because we believe in the greater Body of Christ, we will encourage our congregation to join their fellow brothers and sisters in these services.
