Pastor Ben deRegt has lived in Lynden since 1993. As Bible teacher and Chaplain at Lynden Christian School, Pastor of Worship and Evangelism at a local church and now as Pastor of our Second Family, he has had the pleasure of serving people in Jesus' name since he came to town. Pastor Ben's great joy is being with the Lord, His Word and His people. He's in love with his wife, Kate, and enjoys spending as much time as he can making music, creating lego masterpieces, shooting hoops and fishing with their two sons, Isaiah and Andrew.
Pat Sebens is our part-time custodian and a member of Second since marrying a son of the congregation, Doug Sebens, in 1981. They have three grown children.
Melissa Pecharko is our part-time secretary and with her husband, Denis, and grown son moved to Whatcom County in 2004.
Marlae Buss is our part-time bookkeeper. She has been a member since moving with her husband, Jim, to Lynden in 1990. They have four children.
